In harmony with the chosen watercolor, I drew from not only the sound of the name, but also the atmosphere and individuality it holds, and expressed it in kanji.
選ばれた水彩に寄り添いながら、名前の響きだけでなく、その方の持つ空気や個性をすくい上げ、漢字として表現しました。
Calligraphy for Store Name - 店名筆耕
“WAGON・LIT”
The name of a bar in Tokyo.
Inspired by the French word meaning “sleeping car,” the watercolor background depicts a train carrying people toward their destinations, along with a sense of motion and speed. It is created with the wish that this place will continue to guide people on their journeys, remaining loved over time and growing steadily into the future.
東京にあるバーの店名。
フランス語で「寝台車」を意味する名にちなみ、背景の水彩には、目的地へと人々を運ぶ列車と、そのスピード感を描きました。
この場所がこれからも、人々をそれぞれの目的地へと導きながら、長く愛され、右肩上がりに発展していくことへの願いを込めています。

The joy of moving freely through the world is expressed through vibrant orange, soft pink, and flowing lines.
のびやかに動き、世界を楽しむ姿を、活気あるオレンジとやわらかなピンク、そして伸びる線で表現しました。

“Love Over Money”
A phrase drawn from a line in the client’s favorite song. The watercolor background was developed by carefully drawing out the client’s vision, layering the softness and quiet strength held within the words. This piece has been delivered to a newly built private residence in the Czech Republic.
お客様のお気に入りの楽曲の一節から引き出された言葉。
背景の水彩は、その方の描くイメージを丁寧に汲み取りながら、言葉の持つやわらかさと確かさを重ねて表現しました。
この作品は、チェコに新築された個人邸宅へと納められています。

Inspired by a name that evokes both the moon and the sun. For a newly born life, the meaning and resonance held within the name are gently gathered and expressed through watercolor and calligraphy.
月と太陽を思わせるその名に寄せて。
新たに誕生した大切な命へ、
名前に込められた意味と響きをすくい上げ、
水彩の色彩とともに表現しました。

“Yuma”
“Yuma” was given this name with his parents’ heartfelt wish that he grow up to be kind and true to himself. For this piece, they requested a color palette centered around blue and pink. The soft, rounded shapes in the background are intended to express the tenderness and sweetness of a newborn baby.
Refreshing and gentle shades of blue are layered with pink, symbolizing the warm love surrounding him, creating a piece that reflects a harmonious blend of kindness and affection.
「優しく、真っすぐに育ってほしい」というご両親の願いを込めて名付けられた「優真」くん。制作にあたっては、青とピンクを基調とした色合いをご希望いただきました。
赤ちゃんの持つ柔らかさや愛らしさを、背景に描いた丸みのあるフォルムで表現しています。また、爽やかで優しい印象のブルーに、ご家族から注がれるあたたかな愛情を象徴するピンクを重ね、優しさと愛が調和する一枚に仕上げました。

英語で語られた想いを損なわぬよう、日本語としての美しさを大切に言葉を選びました。モノクロの古典的な書道スタイルで表現しています。
